FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly preparation of rolling rolls of four- high rolling stand for dulling surface of cold rolled strips for shadow masks of kinescopes. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of grinding and further electric-discharge structuring of rolling roll barrels; performing grinding until achieving roughness degree of roll barrels in range 0.1 - 0.3 micrometers Ra; performing electric discharge structuring until providing roughness degree of rolls in range 2.1 - 4.5 micrometers Ra; then guiding rolls to stand and realizing common rotation of mutually forced rolling rolls until achieving 300 - 500 revolutions at linear mutual forcing effort equal to 0.8 - 1.6 kN/mm.
