FIELD: metal working, possibly surface grinding. SUBSTANCE: abrasive tool includes body on one end of which abrasive material layer is applied. On other end of tool body sleeve is arranged; said sleeve has openings for supplying cooling and lubricating fluid and helical blades. Tool body has at side of abrasive layer inner annular groove. Intermediate ring with through cone-shaped holes is placed between annular groove and abrasive layer. Cone-shaped holes are communicated with helical grooves of abrasive layer along Archimedean helix at inclination angle 7 - 10 degrees relative to rotation axis of tool with diameter 2 -2.5 mm. Plate is secured to end of tool body at side of abrasive layer. EFFECT: improved design, lowered thermal stresses of grinding process due to creation of hydrodynamic effect, enhanced quality of ground surface. 2 dwg
