FIELD: automotive industry; passenger car servicing facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed lift contains two columns on inner surfaces of which two carriages are installed for travel provided with support members for coupling with car and resting on load nuts of two load screws connected with synchronous electric drives. Columns are installed to arranged car in between along its longitudinal axis, with adapter members secured on car body. Support members of carriages are made in form of coaxial shafts, one of which is driving shaft coupled with self-braking reversible electric drive of adapter members and car body turning mechanism and it is provided with grip with union clamp on its end forming a figure, for instance, tetrahedron, with groove for disk of first adapter member secured on car for axially fixing said member. Second shaft is installed in corresponding support member for free rotation and longitudinal travel, and it is provided with grip with union clamp forming cylindrical figure for contact with cylindrical surface of second adapter member secured on car. Plates are installed along columns to contact with position switches secured on carriages. Two transport member are arranged in zone of car wheel-to-floor contact to provide cross displacement of car over distance sufficient for placing the car on lift and subsequent removal of car.
