FIELD: fertilizers, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology for preparing homogeneous mineral fertilizers based on ammonium nitrate and can be used in plants manufacturing ammonium nitrate for preparing ammonium-nitrate fertilizer comprising 10-15 wt.-% of calcium nitrate and 90% of ammonium nitrate, not above. Method involves addition of a component as 49-56% calcium nitrate an aqueous solution with pH value = 6.5-7.5 and content of water-insoluble impurities 0.05%, not above, in the amount 10-15% of Ca(NO3)2 to 85-93% ammonium nitrate solution prepared by neutralization of ammonia with nitric acid or by conversion of calcium nitrate before evaporation stage to the ratio NH4NO3 : Ca(NO3)2 in fertilizer = (5.7-9): 1. Granulation is carried out by the prilling method. The prepared fertilizer exhibits high physical- chemical, agrochemical indices and reduced capacity for thermal decomposition.
