METHOD FOR PRODUCING OF FEED ADDITIVE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: microbiological industry, in particular, production of feeds balanced with regard to indispensable amino acids and protein. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing compressed yeast with dry substance content of 25-30% into vessel-thermostat and holding at temperature of 50 C for 30 hours; upon finishing of autolysis process, separating resultant solution; filtering centrifugate on fiber glass filter or in super filtering unit and directing to sprayer-type dryer; drying and using as feed additive. Before drying process, resultant product may be mixed with siftings. Additive "Amikorm" may be given to farm and domestic animals, fur animals and poultry. Though feeds enriched in small amounts of such additive are of slightly higher costs, usage thereof allows feed stockpile characteristics to be substantially improved.
