FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: method involves dilution of beer yeast at 1:3 ratio, removal of flush water by a separator. After separation, bitterness is removed by mixing the yeast suspension at 1:1 ratio with 2.0% solution of sodium bicarbonate. After bitterness removal, autolysis is performed by dilution of yeast suspension with water at 1:1 ratio at 55-65°C to pH 5-7. Enzyme preparation Ceremix 6X MG diluted by water at 1:15 ratio is added to the liquefied yeast mass in amount of 0.3 kg per ton of yeast, the mix is stirred and left for 20 minutes. Further, sodium selenite is added in amount of 0.33 g per ton, the mix obtained is matured at 55-65°C for 4-5 h. Hydrolysate obtained is fed to spraying dryer with conditioned drying agent temperature of 80-85°C and moisture content of 0.06-0.065 kg/kg. After drying, selenium-containing additive powder with 4-5% humidity is packed and left for storage, and used as a fodder additive for farm animals and fowl.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of farm animal and fowl feeding, reduced energy cost, utilisation of brewery waste, higher environmental friendliness, reduced yeast loss in production waste, increased additive storage life, improved selenium distribution.
