FIELD: hydraulic engineering construction, prevention of bank cutting and re-formation of river beds for purposes of their control. SUBSTANCE: riverside protecting installation includes semi-dam of stepped structure made of reinforced concrete with height of steps growing towards bank. Semi-dam is divided by functional-deformation joints into blocks and has T- shaped cross-section with flange oriented downwards. Flange presents flexible foundation bordering on hollowed bottom. Flexible apron of rectangular shape in plan adjoining semi-dam on front includes functional-deformation joint and reinforcing net. Installation presents flexible stepped structure reinforced by net embedded in horizontal plane in body of semi-dam and divided by functional-deformation joints into intercoupled blocks of T-shaped cross-section joined with the aid of reinforcing net. Wall of semi-dam has width diminishing towards top. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability, reduced labor input to building of riverside installation. 1 cl, 7 dwg
