FIELD: mechanical engineering+ADs- dampening vibrations of elastically-mounted structures. SUBSTANCE: proposed vibration damper is used for dampening bending vibrations of revolving shafts+ADs- it includes inertial mass in form of ring concentrically embracing the shaft+ADs- this ring is axially movable+ADs- vibration damper includes also elastic member connected with inertial mass and shaft. Elastic member is made in form of cylindrical envelope from cord fabric and is provided with end parts: collar of membrane tightly fitted on shaft and turned inside out. Inertial mass embraces concentrically envelope and tightly connects ends of end parts over contour, thus forming enclosed circular flexible chamber which is partially filled with viscous fluid. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities+ADs- enhanced efficiency+ADs- simplified construction. 2 dwg
