FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: torsional damper has housing, hub, number of chambers made in form of piston spring-loaded at both sides. Above-piston and under-piston spaces of each cup are connected by channels with throttling valves. Cups are filled with viscous liquid and are covered by lids. Angle of tilting of chambers relative to uniformly spaced radial axes is 0≤α≤180°. EFFECT: improved torsional vibration damping. 2 cl, 9 dwg
