FIELD: armament systems, in particular, functionally independent modules providing detection, tracking, processing of coordinates of various ground, water surface and air targets, as well as guidance of the armament object on targets. SUBSTANCE: the system uses digital or digital-to-analog azimuth and elevation servo drives, infra-red opticoelectronic circular scanning system, infra-red imager, range finder, on-board computer, monitors and control panels of the crew. The system structure is made up with a due account made for the most versatile and effective combination of the up-to-date aids of infra-red optics, automatics and computer facilities with capabilities and combat experience of the crew. EFFECT: enhanced operating properties of the antiaircraft guided missile system, provided detection of the target in the +ACI-quiescence+ACI- conditions+ADs- when system cannot be detected by radiation of its radar or laser devices, provided insensitivity of the system to the aids of radio frequency suppression of the enemy and to other factors, reducing the efficiency of radar operation, provided detection of a great number of targets in the circular scanning sector, estimation of their attainability by the operator and selection of the most preferable one for combat operation, provided panoramic monitoring of the surrounding space both before and after the selection by the operator of the target or group of targets for combat operation, provided operation of the system in the combination (semiautomatic) mode with reservation of the possibility of priority action of the operator at any stage of guidance up to the moment of actuation of the armament object for combat operation, reduced time of target range measurement, enhanced accuracy of guidance of the armament object on the target in the tracking mode. 4 cl, 2 dwg
