FIELD: electrochemical protection of underground metal structures. SUBSTANCE: invention specifically is meant for simultaneous fixing and evaluation of dynamics of summary and polarization potentials. Technical result lies in enhanced reliability of diagnostics of corrosive condition of outer surface of underground metal structures, in inspection of effectiveness of electrochemical protection of underground metal structures against external corrosion, in increased timeliness and reduced probability of operator's error in the course of measurement and in possibility of simultaneous fixing and evaluation of dynamics of summary and polarization potentials. Device includes electron switch to which inputs copper-sulfate nonpolarizing comparison electrode with potential transducer and pipe-line are connected. It measures value of potential. Output of switch is connected to charging capacitor and to input of input buffer of polarization potential which output is connected to input of unit isolating polarization potential. Copper-sulfate nonpolarizing comparison electrode and pipe-line are connected to inputs of input buffer of summary potential and output of the latter is connected to input of unit isolating summary potential. Output of unit isolating summary potential is connected to one of inputs of converter of negative voltage, second input of it is connected to output of unit isolating polarization potential and output is coupled to input of analog-to-digital converter. Output of analog-to-digital converter is connected to data input of central processor. Outputs of the latter are connected to control inputs of electron switch and unit isolating polarization potential, unit isolating summary potential, converter of negative voltage, analog-to-digital converter and indicator and one of its inputs is coupled to output of converter of negative voltage. Button for selection of duration of delay is connected to unit of central processor. Electron switch comprises electron polarization and charge keys.
