FIELD: corrosion protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cathodic protection of metal structures; it can be used in devices for cathodic protection of an underwater part of ship hulls and other marine structures from corrosion. A digital sensor consists of a reference electrode connected to a buffer amplifier with galvanic isolation, connected to a DC-DC power source with galvanic isolation, and includes a buffer gain stage and a power gain stage with galvanic isolation, an output of which is connected to an input of an analog-to-digital converter (hereinafter – ADC), which is connected to an input of a status detector of a communication line connected via the communication line to an electronic key, an output of which is made with the possibility of connecting to a converter of a cathodic protection system, while an input of a pulse charger is connected to the status detector of the communication line, an output of which is connected in parallel to ADC, the power gain stage with galvanic isolation and the DC-DC power source with galvanic isolation, and an output of the power source and an output of a pulse generator are connected to the electronic key.

EFFECT: obtaining an interference-free control signal from the sensor of ship hull potential at the input of the controlled converter of the cathodic protection system, which makes it possible to increase the degree of corrosion protection of the ship hull by eliminating time intervals, at which the level of protective potential is incorrectly set due to interference.
