FIELD: transport engineering; cross-country vehicle propulsion unit. SUBSTANCE: proposed support-and-running member includes cylinder with screw member arranged on its outer surface. Screw member consists of separate parts provided with axles, and holes are made in cylinder into which axles of screw member parts are fitted for turning. Proposed support-and-running member car by furnished with detachable flexible elements located on separate parts of screw member. As a result, possibility is provided for moving both off road and along road pavement, without damaging the pavement. EFFECT: increased maneuverability of vehicle, its running speed both off the road and along road, and survivability in case of failure of part of support-and-running members. 2 cl, 6 dwg
