PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE OF DIAPHAGM FOR MEMBRANE PUMP Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering, manufacture of membrane pumps. SUBSTANCE: process includes cutting out of internal layer from fabric and of two external layers from nonvulcanized rubber. Layers are assembled in package and subjected to hot pressing. Weight of nonvulcanized rubber utilized in manufacture of diaphragm in the amount of 35 to 45 per cent by weight from total weight of solution is solved in acetone, fabric is impregnated with obtained solution from both sides prior to assembly. Impregnation of fabric with solution of nonvulcanized (raw) rubber in simplest ketone (acetone) makes it feasible to raise strength of adhesion between layers of fabric in diaphragm thank to insertion of compound into layer of nonvulcanized rubber during hot pressing and formation of monolithic structure after cooling of package. EFFECT: excluded formation of swellings and flaking of material and enhanced quality of manufactured membrane. 1 dwg
