FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: during plug manufacturing circular and longitudinal workpieces are cut from glass-cloth saturated with binding agent. The first cut circular workpiece for inner layer of plug is of larger diameter than the others. Inner and outer layers of plug are laid out of circular workpieces on mould block corresponding to the plug, inner and additional layers of flange are laid out of longitudinal workpieces. When longitudinal workpieces are laid out providing 2/3 of required thickness of flange additional layer, peripheral part of the first circular workpiece of inner layer of flange is enwrapped on laid out workpieces up to contact with the last circular workpiece of spherical part of outer layer. When the surface of the first circular workpiece is smoothed, excesses of glass-cloth are removed, the other longitudinal workpieces of additional layer of flange are laid. Then thus formed multilayer package is hot-pressed.

EFFECT: improving quality of spherical plug made of glass-cloth.
