FIELD: mechanical engineering+ADs- protection of various objects against vibrations. SUBSTANCE: proposed dynamic self-setting vibration damper includes rigid rod connected with object under protection and oriented along direction of vibrations+ADs- this rod is provided with flexible member secured to it perpendicularly for relative motion and fixation by mass. Section on free end of flexible member is made in form of toothed shaft. Mass is made in form of nut screwed on shaft+ADs- it has rough outer cylindrical surface. Rigidly mounted on object under protection on both sides from nut in planes tangential to side surface of nut are two plates with layer of bristle which are brought in contact with nut. Bristle is inclined to common normal of plate and side surface of nut+ADs- direction of inclination is opposite in each layer. EFFECT: simplified construction+ADs- extended field of application. 2 dwg
