FIELD: production of carbon-graphite items that can be used in nuclear fuel production and powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves procedure of mixing up graphite powder, binder, and fuel microelement. Mixture produced in the process is pre-compressed, then subjected to heat treatment; during heat treatment temperature of items is periodically reduced in phase transition regions by 10 - 15 oC, temperature interval between these temperature reduction procedures being chosen between 20 and 30 oC.
