SUBSTANCE: invention is designated for reducing the content and elimination of uric acid from human body. Method involves using the natural microphytic alga Spirulina platensis as the main active component in combination with trace element selenium by course for two tablets, 2 times per a day, for 21-28 days according with the prescribing regimen. The preparation is taken under control of microscopic analysis of blood serum sample in dynamics. The normalization of uric acid level is assayed on the basis of elimination of uric acid crystals as grains and rays. Method provides avoiding undesirable adverse effects arising in prescription of medicinal hypouricemic agents and to reduce the course duration of hypouricemic therapy.
