FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to robotic equipment where manipulator together with crawler chassis, form common robotic complex with self-contained supply and remote control system designed for operation in atmospheres where presence on humans is inadmissible. Crawler chassis has differential mechanism for changing road clearance and geometry of crawler outlines which includes movable on-board synchronizers, crossmembers and common central drive. Idlers, track wheel units and track roller bogies are installed on on-board synchronizers so that, with on-board synchronizers being turned, length of crawler outlines remains unchanged, track rollers, idlers and track wheel units are in engagement with inner surfaces of track, and clearance is changed in proportion to angle of turning of on-boards synchronizers.
EFFECT: possibility of changing of angle of attack of front overhand, clearance, area of support surface and displacement of turnover rib.
