FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; processing of foundry waste products of magnesium production .
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a nonferrous metallurgy and can be used at processing foundry waste products (crucible leftovers) of productions of magnesium alloys. The method of a complex processing of foundry waste products of production of magnesium alloys provides for a smelt of waste products in medium of the melted flux, separation into a metal and a bottom- components using a method of settling and extraction of an alloy. After extraction of the metal bottom component is additionally treated with a dispersing reagent, stirred, cooled and divide in the solid state into a metal faction, that are used as a granulated magnesium reagent, and an oxide-saline faction, that is used as a mineralizer. In the capacity of dispersing reagent they use a silicon oxide, for example, silicon earth. At that an amount of the dispersing reagent introduced in the bottom component makes 0.25-1.0 % of the mass of the waste products. Mixing is exercised at the temperature of 650-690°С during 15-30 minutes, and division in the solid state is executed by a method of mechanical disintegration. That allows to realize the complex processing of foundry waste products of production of alloys of a magnesium.
EFFECT: the invention allows to realize the complex processing of foundry waste products of the magnesium alloys production.
