SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building particularly, to ingle-hull vessel for pipeline laying and to method of pipeline laying from single-hull vessel. Proposed single-hull vessel for pipeline laying comprises tensioning devices arranged along pipeline laying route. Said route includes, mainly, horizontal section located on the side opposite that of laying at 10 m above vessel rolling center and section on vessel hull stern in laying direction inclined downward and, in use, dips in water at the point located inside hull stern. Proposed method comprises directing the pipeline, first, along horizontal route at, at least, 10 m above vessel rolling center and, then, along curvilinear route of dipping it in water, inside the vessel.
EFFECT: expanded operating performances, higher reliability.
