FIELD: methods of study of internal structure of materials by means of ultrasonic waves.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes high-frequency oscillator, two electromagnetic acoustic transducers; each transducer consists of flat inductance coil located in parallel relative to surface of article; device is also provided with high-frequency amplifier, detector, video amplifier, indicator and sweep generator which are connected in series; second input of indicator is connected to sweep generator which is connected with high-frequency oscillator. Both electromagnetic acoustic transducers are mounted on one side of article under test; direction of polarity of one electromagnetic acoustic transducer coincides with direction of rolling and that of second transducer is perpendicular to it; connected additionally to video amplifier output is circuit including time interval meter, time interval divider and recorder.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of determination of strength characteristics of material in dynamic mode.
