FIELD: technical diagnostics; ultrasonic nondestructive testing of articles.

SUBSTANCE: proposed detector includes electromagnetic acoustic transducer, electronic unit, motion mechanism with two wheel pairs of main rollers and one additional roller, handle with control panel and path-control sensor connected with input of electronic unit processor. According to second version, ultrasonic flaw detector is provided with additional electromagnetic acoustic transducer. Usage of contactless electromagnetic acoustic transducers containing different number of high-frequency coils makes it possible to excite different ultrasonic waves.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
