SUBSTANCE: device has sync signal identifier, inhibit gate, first AND gate, adder, shift register unit, frame marker shaper, OR gate, frame counter, distorted sync signal counter, additional undistorted sync signals selection unit, threshold selection unit, count factor selection unit, hold-off counter, and also resolving unit incorporating first comparison unit, memory unit, subtraction unit, second comparison unit, comparison counter, and second AND gate. Device incorporates provision for adapting sync signal identifier and hold-off counter to changes in probability of erroneous reception of sync signal.

EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity and speed of response of frame synchronization device.
