METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF WOODEN GLUED CONSTRUCTIONS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: wood-processing and furniture industry, in particular, manufacture of glued shields, boards for wagon floor, containers, cars, industrial and civil construction members, sheathing and carpentry products.

SUBSTANCE: method involves assembling glued construction by lengthwise joining of racks or bars at an angle of 90 deg without applying glue; separating rack or bar joining ends in glued construction assembly pattern by distance of at least eight heights of rack or bar or thickness of glued construction; gluing rack or bars under specific pressure of 0.3-0.5 MPa; holding at temperature of 18-22⁰C for 22-24 hours; holding resultant construction at temperature of 50-70⁰C for 6-7 hours to provide for intensified curing of glue; holding under home conditions for at least 48 hours. Method is provided without employment of processing line for lengthwise gluing of timber and of operation for planing of surfaces of glued product members.

EFFECT: simplified method, improved technical and economy factors during manufacture of glued construction, and increased strength of ready product.
