The method for manufacturing a structural material includes the preparation and gluing of several layers of slats, the slats are made from the waste of format cutting of plywood, the outer layers of the structural material are made of strips stacked closely along the longitudinal axis of the material, each inner odd layer is made of strips stacked at a distance from each other along the longitudinal axis of the material, forming longitudinal cavities, each inner even layer is made of laths, laid at a distance from each other and at an angle of 35-55° to the longitudinal axis of the material, and each subsequent even layer is laid mirror-like, while the glue is applied only to the even layers.

EFFECT: reduction of the specific weight of structural material, rational use of plywood production waste due to efficient processing of waste from format cutting of plywood, reduction of glue consumption per unit of production, expansion of the range of products.
