FIELD: technologies of cutting of billets made out of solid and brittle materials.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to technologies of cutting the billets made out of solid and brittle materials into plates using diamond detachable discs with an internal cutting edge and may be used for stabilization of these discs. Technical result is an increased degree of damping of oscillations of a diamond disc during their operation. For this purpose the device contains a hydrodynamic nozzle, inside which there are cavities of the wedge-shaped form linked by a general channel for delivery of a liquid. At that the cavities are located concentrically to a cutting edge of a disc, and the nozzle is fixed on the housing of the cutting-off machine.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase a degree of damping of oscillations of a diamond disc during their operation.
