FIELD: blank cutting technique, possibly mounting of disc saws, for example, for cutting blanks of semiconducting and dielectric materials by separate chips. SUBSTANCE: disc tool is clamped between flanges. Cavities of flanges are filled with ferromagnetic liquid. Electromagnets are fastened in turning of flanges. Electric current is applied to electromagnets for creating magnetic field. Said magnetic field provides orientation of particles of ferromagnetic liquid along lines of forces and damping of vibration of tool. By changing electric current value it is possible to regulate damping degree of tool vibration and to lower vibration at any cutting mode. When flange cavities are completely filled with liquid air layer that decreases damping of vibration is not formed. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
