FIELD: stowage of cargoes on board ship.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in asymmetric stowage of cargoes and ballast along ship's length in midship section at which total mass in area x/L=0.25 is decreased and in area x/L=-0.25 it is increased by magnitude P1; total mass in area x/L=0.5 is increased and total mass in area x/L=-0.5 is decreased by magnitude P2relative to level corresponding to similar degree of filling the spaces with cargoes at similar cubic capacity of cargoes, where x is abscissa of CG of mass P1 or P2; L is ship's length; masses P1 and P2 by which loading is changed along ship's length and L1 and L2 are distances between their CG satisfying expression P1L1=P2L2.
EFFECT: reduction of total vertical bending moment; avoidance of damage to ship's hull.
