FIELD: coal mining.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with breakage faces of steeply inclined coal seams and may be used in coal and other minerals mining from the steeply inclined coal seams. The task of the invention is to increase efficiency of support of a working space of a the working face at the expense of deceleration of broken coal transportation speed caused by gravity along a working face. A section of lining for supporting of a breakage face of steeply inclined coal seams contains an overhead cover with a deflector, hydraulic props, fences, hydraulic jacks of shifting and the base. In the base working face butt there is a groove, in there is a speed suppressor fixed coaxially to the base with a capability to turn both sides in the base plane. The suppressor of speed contains the vane made in the form of a metal lattice, and hollow boom, inside which one part of a spring is installed. Its) other part is rigidly linked with the base. The length of the speed suppressor is no more than the length of the deflector of the lining section. The vane is oriented in parallel to the axes of hydraulic props, its height no more than half of height of the lining section, and sizes of the lattice meshes are no more than a size of an average piece of broken coal.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of support of a working space of a the working face.
