SUBSTANCE: support unit has base, horizontal support beams of box-like section; movement jacks, hydraulic legs, telescopic coverage, shield, speedbrakes, hydrodistributor valve and electric connector. Installed in internal space of each support beam is boring tool connected to rotator and movement jack. Support beams extend perpendicular to hydraulic legs and are connected with hydraulic legs in central parts thereof to provide movement towards support beam axis and limited motion towards hydraulic leg axis. Support beams are connected one to another by tie. Telescopic coverage has box-like cross-section and retractable apron is arranged in internal space thereof. Apron is kinematically connected to coverage by means of hydraulic jacks. Lower apron surface is fixedly connected with telescopic speedbrake having valve for operating hydraulic system of apron. Electric rotator for boring tool rotation is kinematically connected to upper surface of each support beam. Shield includes upper and lower panels arranged at an angle one to another so that angle apex face flockage area and pivotally connected one with another. Upper panel is connected with hydraulic leg and with coverage. Lower panel is connected with hydraulic leg and base. Electric connection is installed on one hydraulic leg below support beam level. Valve for operating hydraulic system of apron is arranged on another hydraulic leg. Support beam is located under hydraulic leg along line of prospective bed dip.
EFFECT: increased support unit strength, improved maintainability.
