FIELD: production of coal and other mineral product.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended to be used in mining at production of coal and other mineral product from the steeply inclined coal seams. A problem of the invention is an increase of efficiency of supporting a working space of a coalface and spreading of a range of the invention application. A lining for supporting a breakage face of a steeply inclined coal seam contains a supporting beam of a box-shaped cross-section, a drilling mechanism installed inside the supporting beam, a hydraulic prop, hydraulic and electrical connectors and a base. A goaf part of the supporting beam is rigidly interlinked with the normally oriented in it hydraulic prop and supplied with a rigid overhead cover. The rigid overhead cover on the working face side is supplied with a shearing deflector and on the goaf side is additionally supplied with the jib-sticks and is linked with the hydraulic prop. The goaf end of the cover is rigidly linked with the fence that is normally oriented upward to it and directed downward. The base is rigidly linked with the fence oriented upward by a normal to the cover. The cover is linked with the supporting beam asymmetrically with formation of a console sideways from the supporting beam.

EFFECT: an increase of efficiency of supporting the working space of a coalface.
