FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for power generation or carrying out mechanical work. Proposed windmill has structural skeleton with support bearing units of vertical shaft mechanically coupled with mechanical energy consumer and equipped with dismountable casing, hollow windwheel consisting of two horizontal disks with blades rigidly installed on shaft, air flow limiting adjuster, hollow convex-concave guide-vane assembly including inner shaped partition enclosing windwheel and forming contraction-diffuser channel with vertical walls. Hollow convex-concave guide-vane assembly is installed for rotation and feathering in its bearing units, lower bearing unit being installed on base (on lower bearing unit of windwheel vertical shaft) and upper, one, on crossmember (lower than upper bearing unit of windwheel vertical shaft). Centering bearing is installed between vertical shaft of windwheel and lower bearing unit of hollow guide - vane assembly.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of windmill.
