FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed windmill rotation around vertical axle has rotor rotating under action of wind around its vertical axis relative to horizontal, and turnable shaft coupled with rotor to be set into rotation by said rotor and adapter for transmission of energy received from wind by said rotor which has cylindrical hollow housing with vertical members installed at its side surface in vertical plane to permit wind set cylindrical housing into rotation, and turnable transfer shaft coupled with cylindrical housing and containing at least one or several cylindrical members installed one over the other and furnished with vertical members arranged at side surface of cylindrical members in vertical plane to form ordered row. Vertical members of each following cylindrical member form subsequent row of vertical members arranged strictly over vertical members of preceding row. Each cylindrical member of cylindrical housing of rotor is made in form of hollow drum with vertical members installed on side surface and made in form of vanes, being parts of cylindrical surfaces arranged with convexity in direction of rotation of rotor. Windmill is furnished with stator device directing air flow and provided with at least one or several sections installed one over the other, one cylindrical member of rotor being arranged in each of said sections. Each section has round rigid upper and lower bases with vanes fitted in between to form ordered row. Vanes of each following section of stator form subsequent row of vanes arranged over preceding row of vanes of preceding section of stator, Moreover, each vane is essentially part of cylindrical surface with radius of curvature greater than radius of curvature of vanes. Vanes are installed with convexity pointed in direction of rotation of rotor, and number of vanes of each section of stator is twice as large as number of vanes of each cylindrical member of rotor and pitch of vanes is less by half than pitch of vanes arranged skipping one vane of rotor.
EFFECT: improved efficiency, economy, reliability and power of windmill.
