FIELD: mechanical engineering; anti-friction bearing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed spherical radial roller double-row bearing includes outer race with spherical raceway, inner race with two toroidal raceways and two cages with ferrules for two rows of barrel-shaped rollers. Specific feature of bearings consists in entering of ferrule of one cage into ferrule of other cage, thus being engageable with them. End face of ferrule of cage of row of rollers is engageable with end faces of rollers of other row. Cage ferrules are cylindrical in shape and their end faces are taper; their generatrix is perpendicular to axis of rollers.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and economical efficiency; reduced friction.
