FIELD: textile industry.

SUBSTANCE: method establishing deformation properties of volumetric heat insulation materials and finished specimens consists in determination of changes of parameters of tested specimens compressed by means of split punch comprising central and outer punches. Tests are conducted in turns: first central punch is loaded with effort F1, then outer punch is loaded with effort F2 ensuring equality of settlement under central and outer punches.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of evaluation of deformation properties of volumetric heat insulation materials and finished products.
