FIELD: electrical engineering, electrodes for metal-hydrate storage batteries.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid electrode of storage battery in agreement with invention is made up of gauze current branch and active mass containing mixture of powder of intermetallic compound LaNi5 carrying components stabilizing electric parameters of storage battery, for instance, cobalt and manganese with fluoroplastic binder, gauze current branch is produced volumetric with density between 0.2 and 0.4 g/cu cm into which active mass in the amount of 1500-1600 mg/cu cm is injected under following proportion of components, per cent my mass: intermetallic compound 98.7-99.0; fluoroplastic 0.75-1.0, polyvinyl alcohol 0.24-0.26.
EFFECT: enhanced specific capacitance of electrode and consequently of storage battery.
