METHOD FOR APPLYING MICROVASCULAR CONTACT-TYPE DOPPLER FLOWMETRY Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2231978 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves mounting Doppler gage on removable guiding device using clips type clamp having flexible metal rod and neurosurgical spatula connecting the guiding device to neurosurgical automatic retractor. The gage is arranged at an acute angle to the blood vessel under examination by modeling metal rod bending and fixing it in a selected position by transferring retractor branch from free to fixed state to obtain optimal signal.

EFFECT: high accuracy in automatically fixing gage in optimal angular position.
