FIELD: chemical and a petrochemical industry; chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the fields of chemical engineering and can be realized in chemical and a petrochemical industry. With the purpose of an intensification of the process of a heat-mass exchange at major mass loads in a liquid and a gaseous phases at the large contact surfaces they use the apparatus consisting of: a housing 1, plates 2, 3, contact branch-pipes 4 made in the form of spiral pipes, a stream vortex generator 5, a gaseous upstream branch-pipe 6, the overflow branch-pipes 7 and a hydraulic lock 8. At that the ratio of a diameter of a gaseous branch-pipe to a diameter of a contact element makes 03-0.5, the height of the contact element makes 0.7-1.0 of space between the contact plates, and in the lower part of the contact element the coils are made with a positive allowance and the area of the formed slots in 1.5-3.0 times more than the cross-sectional area of a gaseous branch-pipe. Besides, the contact branch-pipe may be made in the form of a finned inside cartridge with a jacket, a cross-section of the cartridge may be cylindrical, rectangular, oval, polyhedral. Application of the given apparatus allows to intensify a mass exchange and to reduce power inputs at major mass loads in a liquid and a gaseous phase.
