FIELD: cleaning gases from solid microinclusions chemical, microbiological and other industries where heat-and-mass transfer processes are required. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing with contact plate on which contact members are mounted. Contact members are made in form of cylindrical branch pipes. Each branch pipe is fitted with inner swirler with blind upper base. Apparatus is also provided with baffle plates and overflow tubes. Apparatus has additional contact plate mounted in upper portion of unit of contact members. Each contact member is provided with additional inner swirler with blind lower base. Bases of main and additional swirlers are made in form of bodies of revolution with vertex directed inside swirler; swirlers are mounted at clearance relative to each other.
