FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contact devices of heat-mass-exchange apparatus for carrying out rectification, absorption and extraction processes and can be used in biotechnology, chemical, oil refining and other industries. Contact device for heat-mass-exchange apparatus consists of cylindrical housing 1, tray plate 2 with swirler 3, overflow pipe 4 equipped with hydraulic lock cylinder 5 and a device for discharge of liquid 6 from a rotating gas-liquid layer, made of a corner containing lower 7 and side flanges, and equipped with shaped pipe 10, which serves for installation into an overflow pipe. Lower flange 7 adjacent to side surface of housing 1 is bent upward along arc made by radius of curvature of surface of rotating gas-liquid layer, and also equipped with flanging with cylindrical housing curvature. Distance between angle lower flange and vortex plate web is equal to fluid layer level on vortex plate corresponding to critical gas speed. Ratio of cylindrical housing radius to flanging radius of fluid discharge device is equal to 1.02–1.05. Lower part of the non-deflected flange of the angle piece is made in the form of a chute.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of mass transfer.
