FIELD: engineering industry.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the field of plastic working of metals and may be used for manufacture of the flat bimetallic preforms of the broad dimensional range of thickness and a ratio of thickness of interlayers. The laminated interlayer is produced by rolling of the packet gathered from aluminum with a clad layer on its one side or with the clad layers on its both sides. The clad layer or layers are made out of fusible metals and alloys with the melting point temperatures lower than the temperature of a hot working pressure of aluminum and its alloys with their thickness of 0.1-0.2 in respect to the thickness of the laminated interlayer. Rolling is realized with reduction of a packet exceeding 40 % and less or equal to 90 %. As a result the dimensional range of produced bimetallic flat performs is expanded on thickness and on the ratio of the interlayers thickness, the adhesion activity of the aluminum interlayer to aluminum and its alloys is increased at temperatures of a hot working pressure of aluminum and its alloys.

EFFECT: increased dimensional range of thickness of produced bimetallic flat performs, ratio of interlayers thickness and adhesion activity of the aluminum interlayer to aluminum and its alloys.
