FIELD: transport engineering; antitheft devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed lock of antitheft device has split housing consisting of two parts enclosing member to be interlocked and connected by screws whose heads are flush in one of parts of housing and are protected from unscrewing by removable bar installed in T-shaped slot of housing. It has also mechanism to lock bar in housing made in form of catch located in cross hole of bar and in recess made in housing mated with said hole, and catch shift mechanism arranged in longitudinal hole of bar intersecting with hole for catch and mated with secrecy member containing cylindrical locking device with key. Bar locking mechanism is made in form of two catches with spherical end faces from one side and with beads from other side installed opposite to each other by spherical end faces in cavities of housing made on walls in narrow part of T-shaped slot of housing for engagement from two sides by opposite end faces with catch shift mechanism. Starting faces for engagement with catches when fitting the bar are made on walls of T-shaped slot of housing containing cavities for catches. Bar projects beyond the limits of T-shaped slot of housing and it is provided with longitudinal projections designed to prevent access to catches through clearances between housing and bar. Catch shift mechanism has slider spring-loaded from side of bottom of longitudinal hole of bar by compression spring, and it engages from other side with end face cam mating with cylindrical locking device. Slider is provided with longitudinal stepped in depth slots engaging with end faces of catches and provided with beads. Longitudinal guide slot for engagement with set screw is located in cross hole of bar intersecting with its longitudinal hole. Device is furnished additionally with mechanism locking slider in bar made in form of spring-loaded pin arranged in additional cross hole of slider and pushbutton, one end of which is made spherical and the other is provided with bead. Said pushbutton is installed in hole mated with hole of slider for lock pin in bar for engagement by spherical end face with starting face in narrow part of T-shaped slot of housing and by opposite end face, with pin of slider lock when catches are in released position. Cavity is made on end face cam of catch shift mechanism along axis of longitudinal hole in bar in place of its mating with cylindrical locking device. Ball fitted in said cavity increases time required to break antitheft device and makes unnecessary to use spanner when mounting bar in device housing on vehicle.
