FIELD: medicine, veterinary science, laboratory diagnosis.

SUBSTANCE: method for isolating blood leukocytes for chemiluminescent analysis involves blood sample taking off into siliconized tubes, rupture of erythrocytes, separation of leukocytes precipitate by centrifugation and washing out leukocytes. Blood taking off is carried out with Trilon B and erythrocytes are lysed in the ratio of blood, distilled water and buffer solution = 1:8:1, respectively. Standard Henx solution without phenol red but with addition of chloroform is used as a buffer solution. Leukocytes are washed out with 0.02% Trilon B solution. Method provides elevating yield of viable leukocytes and preventing their agglutination.

EFFECT: improved isolating method.
