METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTING PROXIMAL FEMORAL DEPARTMENT AT FAILED DEVELOPMENT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

SUBSTANCE: one should descend distal femoral fragment at simultaneous removal of all the components of failed position by performing the dosed simultaneous turn of proximal femoral fragment in frontal plane followed by fixation in anatomically correct position till achieving consolidation of osseous fragments. To improve osteogenesis between fragments of proximal femoral department after descending their distal part and removing all the components of failed position one should apply an osseous autotransplant taken out of the crest of iliac wing to be introduced between proximal and distal fragments from external surface that enables to form proximal femoral department of correct shape by keeping a support-capable hip joint.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of reconstruction.
