SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new derivatives of tocopherols, tocotrienols and other derivatives of chroman and by-side chains of the formula (I):

wherein X represents oxygen atom; R1 represents group -(C1-C10)-alkylene-COOH, -(C1-C4)-alkylene-CONH2, -(C1-C4)-alkylene-COO-(C1-C4)-alkyl, -(C1-C4)-alkylene-CON-(C1-C4)-alkylene-COOH)2, -(C1-C4)-alkylene-OH, -CH2(CH2)2-NH3-Cl or -(C1-C4)-alkylene-OSO3NH-(C1-C4)-alkyl)3; R2 and R3 represent hydrogen atom or methyl group; R4 represents methyl group; R5 represents the group -(C7-C17)-alkyl, -COOH, -(C7-C16)-olefinic group comprising from 3 to 5 ethylene bonds, -C=C-COO-(C1-C4)-alkyl or -(C1-C4)-alkylene-COO-(C1-C4)-alkyl being under condition that R1 can not mean neither group -(C2-C4)-alkylene-COOH nor -(C1-C4)-alkylene-CONH2, nor -(C1-C4)-alkylene-OH when each among R2, R3 and R4 represents methyl group and R5 represents -(C1-C)-alkyl, and to method for treatment of cellular-proliferative diseases and to method for inducing cell apoptosis. Invention provides preparing new derivatives of tocopherols, tocotrienol and other derivatives of chroman and by-side chains eliciting with inhibitory effect with respect to unfavorable or non-controlled cell proliferation.

EFFECT: improved treatment method, valuable medicinal properties of compounds.
