FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of wells from the surface and making of several evenly placed along bed massive pairs of vertical slits. Each upper-lying pair of slits is displaced relatively to lower pair in horizontal plane for same sharp angle. During treatment of average and massive beds displacement angle of vertical slits is 30°-45°, and height h=(1/5-1/2)·m. Distance between ends of slits of one pair for layers of any massiveness is determined in basis of expression 1=h/λ, where λ is a coefficient of side thrust of rock massive.
EFFECT: 2-3 times higher methane debit from well.
