FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine cooling system has bypass valve 10 fitted in bypass pipe line 9. Innovation is in kinematic linkage of the liquid valve with control device in order to ensure stable circulation of the cooling liquid at considerable increase of the rotational speed of the engine. Control device is provided with free intermediate diaphragm 13 with pusher 14 and spring-loaded main diaphragm 15 with accumulating volume 16 in between them. Accumulating volume 16 is in communication with pump inlet branch pipe 14 by at least two throttling holes of small diameter; side of main diaphragm 15 which is opposite to the accumulating volume is in communication with atmosphere. EFFECT: enhanced reliability through stable circulation of cooling liquid at considerable increase of the engine rotational speed. 2 dwg
