FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine cooling system includes closed cooling liquid circulation circuit including circulating pump, engine cooling jacket, blowing air cooler, oil-to-water cooler, water-to-water cooler, compressor, heat carrier temperature control thermostat, expansion tank to which suction line from compressor is connected; expansion tank is sealed, and air line includes pressure reducing valve controlling the pressure of air supplied from compressor and connected to outlet of additional control unit to the inlets of which there connected is supercharge pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter of cooling liquid at the engine outlet, pressure transmitter in cooling system and optic sensor of vapour phase present in cooling liquid, and as compressor drive it includes the turbine using waste gas energy extracted from piston part of engine; at that, as compressor drive it includes self-contained electric motor the activation and deactivation of which is performed as per the signal supplied from the control unit.
EFFECT: thermal state of engine is controlled under conditions of maximum overloads and its operating reliability is improved.
