FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of sliding bearings.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method holder is made of graphite material having lubricating properties, and bushing is made of titanium or its alloy, working surface of bushing is strengthened by surface plastic deformation, and cermet layer is formed on working surface by anode-cathode microarc oxidizing. Novelty is that surface plastic deformation of bushing is carried out to shear deformation of 0.8-1.4, then upper loose part of oxide cermet layer is mechanically removed and pores of oxide cermet layer are filled with particles of holder material by friction machining at load of 11-13 kPa and speed of 25-35 m/min.
EFFECT: improved antifriction and wear-resistance characteristics of sliding bearing increased contact rigidity of coating on bearing bushing at short-time rise of loads.
